Who are we? CrossFit Manta Ray is founded and managed by two CrossFit coaches with a vision. We worked together in a physical medicine practice where we witnessed people change their lives through improvements in Frame, Posture, Diet, and Exercise. We witnessed these results visually, as well as through statistically documented progress. As CrossFit coaches, we helped people maintain, and improve, their already amazing results through CrossFit training consisting of: Functional Exercise, Flexibility and Mobility, and the Paleo Diet, among other components. CrossFit Manta Ray is our way of reaching out to more. We hope to share our vision with anyone, of any fitness level, looking to better themselves physically.
At Manta Ray, you will be surrounded by a fantastic community consisting of coaches and friends who are excited about helping you reach your goals. Our coaches have comprehensive knowledge of CrossFit Movements, Programming, Nutrition, and know how to individualize a plan for you. Manta Ray has ample square footage, brand new equipment, private restrooms, workout progress recording, and a wonderful community!Our program provides athletic conditioning through Functional Exercises, Plyometrics, Kettlebell Training, Olympic Weightlifting, Power Lifting, Gymnastics, Rowing, Running, and Jumping Rope. Manta Ray’s workouts adapt and cater to any individual’s needs. They are scalable to everyone from the elite athlete to those who are just beginning their fitness journey. We are focused on training our clients through optimizing physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains: Cardio-respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. Manta Ray’s program delivers a fitness that is broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. The stimulus provided is always varied and the results are dramatic. In using the fun of sport, we build camaraderie, competition, and intense output. This motivates individuals to excel and be held accountable to earn results. We find that even highly motivated or self-motivated people push themselves harder to get better results by working in a group.
What Separates CrossFit Manta Ray From Other Health Clubs and CrossFit Gyms?
There are Six Main Components that we offer every member of our community; starting most importantly with a foundation in frame strength and mechanics:
Frame Strength and Mechanics (FSM): is geared toward improving your posture, which will in turn help your body function more efficiently. Improved areas include digestion, energy, focus, strength, reflex, brain function, quality of life and many more! We implement FSM everyday in the gym.
Programming: In most health clubs, after you sign up, you’re on your own. To get someone to program workouts for you everyday can be very costly and inconvenient. At Manta Ray, you will find yourself with a programmed Workout of the Day (WOD) each time you come in the gym, or as we call it, “The Box.” We also offer online progress tracking and the ability to view workouts while you’re at home or out of town for those instances when you cannot make it to the box.
Coaching: Each time you show up for a class at our box, you will receive quality coaching from the CrossFit Manta Ray staff. It could be a long journey toward getting healthy if you don’t have a helping hand to assist with your form and motivation. Manta Ray takes great pride in our organized coaching system.
Accountability: Along with our programming and coaching comes the accountability. You do have a family here that cares about you and your goals! We strive to give you that accountability that makes all the difference.
Community: Perhaps the main reason why our program is so successful is the community! Being able to workout in a comfortable environment full of positive energy is priceless. You are somebody at CrossFit Manta Ray! We want you to be part of our family.
